Pawpaw Cake

Adapted from Lorena Valiente’s recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 3/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/3 cup canola oil

  • 1 egg

  • 3/4 cup pawpaws small pieces

  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds (or pecans)

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl

  2. In another beat egg with sugar and oil

  3. Mix and fold in pawpaw and nuts

  4. Bake at 350 for 25 mins
