In Season

Chefs from around the world are collaborating at different locations every year to find plants and seafood to produce unforgettable feasts.

This link showcases a few videos from the 2011 Japan expedition to celebrate “shokudo” the Way of Food. For me, I especially love video number 3 that shows the chefs foraging special ancestral plants that Japanese in that area collect and use in their meals. They forage wild wasabi, and windswept beach herbs. We can find many plants from Japan across the United States today.
